Trying to upgrade wordpress.com site to wordpress.org

I have a basic wordpress.com site with my domain registration firm.


I have a separate web host company and have added that domain to them.


I’m now looking to create a wordpress.org site
I’ve moved the names, set up in cpanel, or so I think.


My webs host firm can see the wordpress.org admin panel for the site


But I can’t – keeps taking me to the wordpress.com page

could be an ilinks


Please help.


I’m a tech newbie by the way so be gentle.

Here;s the latest response from wordpress but I don't understand it

I'm not sure I understand the issue, are you using Wordpress on your cPanel server? This looks like it's directed to wordpress.com or you're not providing enough information.
