Turn off demo, ftp still doesn't work

Is there a way that when you turn off the demo mode, that the ftp will work on that site? I had to delete the demo site, reinstall it and then the FTP was working for the domain. Any help?

I don't know... didn't look. This was only our demo account, so I just deleted it and recreated it. I just wanted to check out how removing demo would affect it afterwards. Anyone else have experience with this?
