    Hello,

I have been trying to tweak my apache server settings by adjusting values of maxclients, serverlimit etc.
I have been told that the command "service httpd status" can be used to identify the values for these parameters.
Anybody please help me to do this tweaking.

    Regards
    Tino

    Infopro,

Thanks for responding to the thread.

I am aware of this. My question is whether it is possible to set the values of these variables based on the output of "service httpd status"? We can't just raise its values. It should be based on apache connections right?

You should consider adjusting the values only if you are facing some issues regarding memory/cpu/slow loading of websites. Otherwise its better to leave it as it is.

Yes, you can adjust according to the details shown in
    Cheers!!!
