    Hi,

I have a VPS that uses cpanel. I am having two instances of clamd. Is this normal? can I get rid of one of them as each consume 25% of memory.

Here is a part of top command result:

    Thanks

    Hello :)

Look for the process using "ps aux|grep clam" instead of "top". The process for the version of ClamAV managed through cPanel will show up as:

    /usr/local/cpanel/3rdparty/bin/clamd

Use a command such as "rpm -qa|grep clam" to see if there is an additional installation or check to see if you have a local ClamAV installation from source.

    Thank you.
