We have two website URL's DomainName.com and DomainName.org. Currently we have one website hosted (the .org) and the other is setup as a Permanent (301) redirect within the cPanel. We would like to have both url's resolve to a single website folder but maintain the respective .com or .org extension as they surf the respective websites. How can I get this accomplished? If it is not possible then how would I change the primary hosted website to be the .com and have the .org as a permanent (301) redirect?

Any help or suggestions are appreciated!

    Thanks,

    Todd

    Hello :)

You should remove the existing redirect, and add the additional domain as a Parked Domain under the cPanel account. This should accomplish what you are seeking to configure. Here is some more documentation on Parked Domains:

    Thank you.

Thanks for the response. I do now have the additional domain as a parked domain but it is not maintaining the .com extension for some reason. Is there any additional configuration to do in order to maintain the respective extension the website visitor inputs (maintain .com while navigating)?

    I really appreciate your help!

Here is the Secondary Domain URL /http://www.LordsNet.com

This has nothing to do with cPanel.

If you go to http://www.LordsNet.org and view the source you see links like this:
    http://lordsnet.org/wp-content/...

If you go to http://www.LordsNet.com and view the source you still see links like this:
    http://lordsnet.org/wp-content/...

i.e. when you click a link you go to the .org domain.

If anything can be done, it must be done in WordPress configuration, not in cPanel.
