Unable to access cpanel

I need to change my email address on my cpanel where i can go to file manager but somehow it is now letting me sign on but only to the forums. What I need is to get to the file manager area where I can change my email address.

your forum is different from the cpanel.

in case you are unable to access cpanel as a normal user, you can reset the password via the root WHM. and furtherif u have no access to the root, then u will have to get to the host with whom you have the account to reset the same.

upon login to the cpanel, you will see the option to change the email address on the index page itself.

ok sorry I am a newbie to this where do I go to get to the root whm. I did get with the host and they told me I will have to change my email address so they can fix the problem and they gave me the cpanel login but somehow it is not accepting my user name or password.

you cannot access root whm as you are not the host.. some one is hosting for you..

so place a request for password change with your web host and ask them to send it to you..

If you are not the root then you will have to contact you hosting company for support on this as to reset your password and send you then new one.Once you have accessed your cpanel using it you may be able to change the contact info on the link personal info rmation/
