I cannot add forwarders anymore, if I add a new forwarder all the old ones are gone! The file in /etc/valiases/ is empty, domain.tld is 0 bytes. I used /scripts/fixvaliases but this doens't work (only makes it worse! some domainfiles are made empty), I already contacted cpanel support, but the only thing they did was mailing me back..... asking or it was already fixed!? Who can help me out here?!?

I'm running FreeBSD 5.3 with latest cpanel/whm (release)

    please run

    /scripts/updatenow
    /scripts/updateuserdomains
    and
    /scripts/mailperm
    then you may run /scripts/fixvaliases

Ha! Just posted on an issue I'm having with a domain that was just restored : mail is still being forwarded, so aliases must still exist, but they do not show up in cPanel. Where are the cPanel config files for valiases located, anyway?

    Eric

[FIXED: the add-on domain hadn't been restored, see link for details]

Can you try manually adding the forwarders in the /etc/valiases file. Also please do have a check on the ownership of the vlaiases file of that domain. I had seen cases like that before.
