In running WHM 9.7.2, I continually fail to get the script to change the IP listed for one of my reseller domains. It's showing up on the main shared IP, despite the fact that I've set it up for its own IP otherwise. The "changesiteip" script fails out every time.

FWIW, my DNS is slaved to my NOC's DNS servers, and it is pointing at the IP that I want.

I've gone into /var/named/[domain].db and edited the listing there to point at the right IP, but I can't figure out what all else "changesiteip" is looking for.

    Can anyone provide some guidance?

I remembered to go in and check httpd.conf and edited it as well.

    Any help would be appreciated.

[I'm confused that I got a reply via email but not a reply here on the forum. Strange.]

Anyhow, I added a line to /etc/hosts to point at it, rebooted httpd and named, and now /scripts/ipusage points to the right place.

Now to wait for DNS to totally resolve elsewhere ...

Thanks for the advice to check /etc/hosts.
