Unable to check htaccess file Permission denied

My site is running scam, however when I try to insert something into a specific module I have an http 500 error and this error log in cpanel

Hello @gsantos123,

It looks like the ownership and/or permissions for some of the files and directories associated with your PHP script do not align with the requirements associated with the PHP handler enabled on your server. I recommend reporting this to your web hosting provider so they can access the server to verify the cause of the issue.
