This is not good. I upgrade to the latest stable and now cpanel nor WHM work. I get an "Unable to connect" page now for both. Anyone else have this problem?

It also caused my POP service to crash repeatedly as well.

It mentioned a Cwd version match error during upcp, so I did the following to resolve it:

/scripts/perlinstaller --force Cwd
/scripts/eximup --force
/scripts/upcp --force

(If you use MailScanner, you may have to recompile it after this.)

Log into the server and run /usr/local/cpanel/cpsrvd. This will restart the daemon that handles all connections to cPanel/WHM. Please post back any error messages.
Restarting cPanel or the POP service did not help in this case.

Not all of my servers were affected by this, but 2 of them had this Cwd version error during upcp which caused all of these problems, all of the rest of my servers upgraded fine.

cpanelben,

Here is the error after running /usr/local/cpanel/cpsrvd

Cwd object version 3.14 does not match $Cwd::VERSION 3.11.

cpanelben,

I did /scripts/upcp --force and now I can get into cpanel but it has all kinds of errors like the below.

[an error occurred while processing this directive]

I cannot get into whm at all. It just shows a blank page.

This just indicates that an error has occurred. The juicy details are logged to /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log.

Before you post back though, make sure that you ran "/scripts/upcp --force". If that doesn't solve your problem automagically, then run "/usr/local/cpanel/bin/checkperlmodules". That will give you an indication of any problems with perl.

After that post back the "juicy" error messages if you will. Thanks

This is actually starting to be comical. The second time I ran /scripts/upcp --force it fixed the blank page and $Cwd mismatch and I could get into WHM. I still got those "directive" errors using cpanel though so I run /scripts/upcp --force (again).

This last time I ran /scripts/upcp --force it broke whm and cpanel (again). I run /usr/local/cpanel/cpsrvd and I get Cwd object version 3.14 does not match $Cwd::VERSION 3.11 (again).

Here we go running /scripts/upcp --force (again). I'll keep you posted.

I'm just thankful this isn't on a production box.

The fourth running of /scripts/upcp --force seemed to fix everything. I think I'll hold off on production box upgrades for now. Thank you for your time.

Boy, I couldn't have written a better post. I am having the EXACT same problem with this so-called STABLE release. I too am on my 4th upcp. I will let you know if anything changes.

I would also reccomend holding off on this update.

Runnin the command four times fixed my problems as well, including the CPanel permissions. I went from cPanel 10.8.1-S31 to S114. Not sure if it was worth it, though.

I've located the source of all these problems and it will be resolved shortly. We had an upateserver die on us that resulted in a failed sync with our master server. Once everything is back in order I'll post back here.

thanks for that, but I deleted the installd folder earlier thinking I would just fully reinstall it, so now upcp is toast anyway. I am waiting to gain access to the cp server. Everything is still timing out.
