Unable to create an account

i just started getting this error upon attempting to create an account

Unable to locate proftpd.conf at /scripts/wwwacct line 1312.Account Creation Complete!!!


ran fixwwwdir and some others rebooted, restared ftp etc

Do you have a proftpd.conf file in /etc directory?

You are most likely using PureFTP. Something broke in an update, so the only thing we could do was switch back to proftp.

Easy fix

cd /etc
touch proftpd.conf

touch /etc/proftpd.conf
