unable to find ns2.domain.com

Hi,
Previously, I could find ns2.mydomain.com in
WHM Home » DNS Functions » Edit DNS Zone

I deleted it using Home » DNS Functions » Delete a DNS Zone

Now, I added ns2.mydomain.com at
Home » Server Configuration » Basic cPanel & WHM Setup
Assigned an IP address, added an A entry for this name server.

However, I am not able to find ns2.mydomain.com in
WHM Home » DNS Functions » Edit DNS Zone

I have also ran /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/updatenameserverips in SSH

Any help?

Check for it in the parent zone for the "mydomain.com" domain name.
