Unable to Login Via Firefox

Hi all,

i am unable to login to cpanel or whm through the usual routes.

Its very strange, what happens is, when i try to login, it accepts the username and password but then asks me if i want to download a "" BIN file, thats it, nothing else, no errors, just tries to push some file at me.

Can anyone help me resolve this? I am able to login using Internet Explorer on XP but the problem has been happening with the following:

Firefox on XP
Opera on Ubuntu
Firefox on Ubuntu

It could possibly be my installation but i have no idea on where to start looking.

Hi,

I am having the same problem for two servers is setup yesterday.
I normally get to setup a server almost every day. I know last week this did not happen, but for some reason, on two servers I configured yesterday, I get this octeck download window after putting in my login info using FireFox. In IE, the problem does not exist.

The servers were configured the exact same way as all the other ones I have.
Both are running FC3.

Maybe a problem with the current version of the cPanel installer?

I am hesitant to put this box into production now...
Anybody else?
