Unable to remove mail filter

One of our users has added a filter as follows:

header_subject: contains &!@#$%^&*()_+=-{[}][]&

In addition to blocking all their mail (of course), this filter simply will not delete. I've tried manually removing it from the /etc/vfilters files, but it keeps coming back as soon as you enter the user's control panel. Has anyone seen this before? If so, how did you manage to get rid of it?

Is there some placeholder file in ~username/ that is named &.filter& or something that cpanel could draw that information from?

It's a shot in the dark, I didn't know that there was any place in the background that spawned filters into existance like this......

Ah - that's it. He had also tried to create his own, for some reason. I didn't even think to check for that, as this isn't exactly a power user. :)
