I have a cpanel user who is unable to delete a MySQL database from their cpanel account.

When going through and "deleting" it, cpanel reports that it was deleted, but still it remains.

    Any one have any ideas?

Go into WHM phpmysqladmin and remover the database that way.

Stop hovering to collapse... Click to collapse... Hover to expand... Click to expand...

What is your full cPanel version number?

Is the database name the same as the user name?

Yes, the database is the same as the cpanel username.

I've seen this again and again recently. It has something to do with MySQL databases that are created just using the main cPanel username.

You can resolve this by using the phpmyadmin tool in WHM (not in the cPanel account), then drop the database from there.
