I forgot to add that while I'm unable to send emails out (kinwai@domain.com.sg), my colleague's (aisyah@domain.com.sg) is able to. What should I do?

    Hello :)

Do you encounter the error message when sending from "kinwai@domain.com.sg" to any remote address, or only when sending to a specific server? Have you verified this email address is created in cPanel, and the domain name and it's MX records resolve to the cPanel server?

    Thank you.

    Hi Michael,

    Thanks for assisting.

I encounter the error message when sending to any remote address.

This email address was created in cPanel. However, how do I ensure the domain name and it's MX records resolve to the cPanel server?

    Thank you

    Hi,

Please run below command on your server, if you have root access and provide the output.

    exim -bt kinwai@domain.com.sg

You can check MX records from shell by running,

    dig MX domain.com.sg

    Hello :)

You can also enter the domain name in a website such as IntoDNS.com to see the results if you are not comfortable using the command line.

    Thank you.

    Thank you guys so much!

I've run the domain names at IntoDNS.com and everything points back to my server. Everything looks in order, or it could be that I have no idea what I'm doing.

Any other possibilities as to why my colleagues are able to send emails out whereas I can't?

    Any help is much appreciated!

Try searching your email address in /var/log/exim_mainlog to see if you can find additional information about the failure. EX:

    Code:
    exigrep user@domain /var/log/exim_mainlog
    Thank you.
