    Hello,

    It's probably best that in this situation you go ahead and contact our support department immediately so that you can get back online as fast as possible. While we do try to offer support via our forums, it's really not efficient for this sort of critical issue that could take significant time to troubleshoot without remote access to the server itself.

    Where should I go for support? - cPanel Inc.

    I did want to mention that it is oftentimes useful to view the cPanel error logs when you have an issue such as you are having:

    Code:
    tail -f /usr/local/cpanel/logs/error_log
    If you issue that command in one window while trying to start cPanel in another, you'll typically receive messages related to any error on why cPanel isn't starting up.

    Also, you may want to check if cPanel really isn't starting up:

    Code:
    lsof -i :2082 && lsof -i :2083
    netstat -an | grep :2082 && netstat -an | grep :2083
    The typical return for the above two commands would be:

    Code:
    # lsof -i :2082 && lsof -i :2083
    COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE NODE NAME
    cpsrvd-ss 4685 root    3u  IPv4 18039408       TCP *:infowave (LISTEN)
    COMMAND PID USER FD TYPE DEVICE SIZE NODE NAME
    cpsrvd-ss 4685 root    5u  IPv4 18039410       TCP *:radsec (LISTEN)

    # netstat -an | grep :2082 && netstat -an | grep :2083
    tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:2082                0.0.0.0:*                   LISTEN
    tcp        0      0 0.0.0.0:2083                0.0.0.0:*                   LISTEN

    Based upon the above output you are currently using cPanel & WHM 11.29.0.11. This is a development release and not ready for production systems. I strongly urge you to open a support ticket with us. We will assist you in downgrading your server to version 11.28.
