hi, in some way my machine was compromised last nite, (im assuming it was last nite as the offending file was last modified at 22:08 april 29th) im not sure how, i am thinking ftp or frontpage, as the last login for that account was from one of my own ip's

i have searched through trying to find ftp access logs but cannot find anything, and also i cannot find any frontpage access logs (or are apaches logs the only ones that keep track?)

I need to find out how they got in, and how to fix it

    Regards,
    Mike Hughes.

FTP access logs are at /var/log/xferlog
Anyone know about the frontpage ones by any chance?
