Having some problems with a dns setup

I have read alot of post here and have following them as much as I can tell.

    Step #1 edit set up

    Added the following Name servers

For each I assigned an IP as well as created an A record then
    saved set up

Step #2 Manage assigned nameserver ip's

both are found in there with corresponding ip that were assigned

Step #3 Initial Name server set up

Click okay and bind started with no errors

    Step #4 Safety measure
    Just in case

    -Restarted dns bind

Okay now from what I have read this was all one should have to do in order to set up there dns server. If I left something out please let me know because I can not assign to ethier of the name servers I set above.

I have tried and tried to set my main domain to the name servers I set up and continue to get the following error.

Unavailable error in field Host name1
Unavailable error in field Host name2
I have also checked the following files per instructions found on this site and each are set up in the manner described.

I also ran the following in ssh just to make sure it wasnt broke.

    cd /scripts
For what its worth my server has the following specs:

    Dual Opteron 242
    WHM -version 9.1.0
    Cpanel -version 9.1.0-S52
    OS - Fedora

I appreciate any and all help as I have tried alot of things with no success. If I let anything out or forgot to do something that I need to do please let me know.
