i cant figure out why my disk storage is increasing by itself when the actual size of my website is constant. i am not storing emails or using any of the special scripts. how cud this be?

no i don't. im really puzzled. this happens everytime i receive emails but i dont store those emails. i delete them after viewing them. but still the server somehow doesnt update itself automatically. this really bothers me because now it may be happening also to other accounts under my WHM and i have to keep adjusting their quotas.

How drastically is the quota increasing? If every day, then week, then month it doubles thaphantom is correct in saying that you are running backups.

our server admin just corrected the problem. the email trash bin is taking up the extra space. the server somehow doesnt update itself automatically on that aspect.

Might be handy to add the above or something similar, to your crontab.
