I didn't know Cpanel needed a license, I want to uninstall it now because now I have this non-working sentinal on my webserver.

Running redhat9, I want to get back to stock apache.

    Help is appreciated.

    JBellone,

This is hard, very hard. You can of course, delete the /usr/local/cpanel and /var/cpanel/. However, that's only the start. I would recommend a fresh install ;)

Once cpanel is installed, it becomes part of the operating system so for a clean apache install, it would have to be done from scratch.

There is no way to get apache up and running until a install can be done on the weekend?

Then maybe they should state that somewhere. Especially don't include an uninstall script in the cpanel directory.

I just looked. you're right it does not say anywhere you can't just use it.

Maybe they figure that since they charge so bloody much people would figure it out for themselves or something.
