    Hello,

Please check if the domain is properly owned by that account:

    Code:
    /scripts/whoowns domain.com
Where domain.com is the domain name for the cPanel account that is not working. If that does work to return the right cPanel user, then please clarify if all email accounts on the domain itself are not working or only certain email accounts. Basically, if you create a new email account on that domain, do that email account work for logging into it?

    Thanks.

How can I change the owner?
Because we're facing the same issue and we saw that the owner is wrong.
We tried from Reseller Center, nothing...
Could you help us out please?

    Thanks in advance!!!

Rather than editing /etc/userdomains directly, which will revert on /scripts/updateuserdomains processing, you would want to check /var/cpanel/users/username files for each user who has the domain listed:

    Code:
    grep domain.com /var/cpanel/users/*
This will show which users show the domain under it. A domain cannot be listed in multiple accounts in those files. Remove it from whichever is the wrong user or users files, then do the following:

    Code:
    mv /etc/userdomains /etc/userdomains.bak110622
    mv /etc/truedomainusers /etc/truedomainusers.bak110622
    mv /etc/domainusers /etc/domainusers.bak110622
    /scripts/updateuserdomains
The script will not properly ensure the right ownership exists until you move those files out of the way, and manually editing any of those files is a bad idea other than the /var/cpanel/users/username files which are used to build each of those files (/etc/userdomains, /etc/trueuserdomains and /etc/domainusers).

    Thanks!
