Hi, if I set in mailbox quota unlimited, does it mean that it will use up to maximum amount of space that is set for client account in account plan? Or does it override the account plan size?

Does the mailbox usage warnings work with unlimited accounts? Or should I use account disk quota warning instead?

I have an account set for 16 Gb and all that space should be divided for three email accounts. What would be the best combination to enable huge mail accounts and notifications if the space is running low?

It will not override the account plan size. If a mailbox quota is set as unlimited, it will use up to the max amount of space that is set for that account.

You can enable Mailbox warnings under Tweak settings in WHM. Take a look at the following url.

Tweak Settings

Mailbox usage warnings are sent to the user who's email box is nearing capacity. I'm not sure if the mailbox warnings will work with unlimited accounts. Disk space warnings are sent to the cPanel contact email address.

Cheers!!!
