I seem to have a chat room going on in my cpanel guestbook. The topics are getting ugly, and within the last few days, my unwanted "guests" seem to be taking over. There are hundreds of posts about subjects that have nothing to do with my site. How is this possible? How can I stop it?

I forgot to mention that my guestbook is not visible to the "guests" so I am perplexed at how it is being used as a chat room. I thought that the only way to view the comments was through my secure cpanel account. How can these "guests" chat with each other if their comments do not appear on my guestbook?

Is it "advanced guestbook"? If yes, they you should upgrade to latest version, which has GD code verification. Probably you will have to reinstall it, as sometimes upgrade fails.

disable/remove the guestbook script from your cpanel or whm and delete it from the site.

if it is on a reseller - suspend them to get their attnetion and get them tro remove it.
