    Well, it might not be. the version of smartcheck that cPanel uses is out of date. It's also not 100% reliable (there are disks that it doesn't work with).

    Your best bet is to log the problem with your datancentre/NOC and have them check out the disk. They are in the best place to tell you whether to ignore it or to get the drive replaced.
