    Hello,

    Please let us know the output from the following command:

    Code:
    awk '$4=="E"' /var/cpanel/updatelogs/update.XXXXXX.log
    Replace "update.XXXXXX.log" with the name of the most recent log file in the /var/cpanel/updatelogs/ directory.

    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Could you manually run the script referenced in that output and let us know the result? EX:

    Code:
    /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/smartcheck
    Thank you.

    Hello,

    Could you verify which specific version of cPanel you are updating from? This was fixed as part internal case CPANEL-16615 in cPanel version 68.0.12:

    Fixed case CPANEL-16615: Create fstab if missing.

    WHM says I'm at 68.0.19. I followed the suggestion in the thread you linked to and reran the
    /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/smartcheck command. No more errors :)

    Thank you!
