    Hello,

Anybody having this problem while running /scripts/upcp?

    Updating /scripts ...
    Sync Source: http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/STABLE/scripts
    Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/STABLE/scripts/.cpanelsync.lock (0)....@198.66.92.150......connected......receiving......Done
    Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/STABLE/scripts/.cpanelsync.bz2 (0)....@198.66.92.150......connected......receiving...30%...60%...90%...100%......Done

bzip2: Data integrity error when decompressing.
    Input file = /scripts/.cpanelsync.bz2, output file = /scripts/.cpanelsync

It is possible that the compressed file(s) have become corrupted.
You can use the -tvv option to test integrity of such files.

You can use the `bzip2recover' program to attempt to recover
data from undamaged sections of corrupted files.

bzip2: Deleting output file /scripts/.cpanelsync, if it exists.
    Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/STABLE/scripts/.cpanelsync (0)....@198.66.92.150......connected......receiving...11%...23%...35%...47%...58%...70%...82%...94%...100%......Done
    Done updating /scripts
Found hostname to be backup1.minas.com.br, which resolves to 75.126.151.157
Hostname Virtual Host is already setup
PHP version file is up to date
    SpamAssassin disabled in Service Manager
    Ftp Quota Check v1.6

    Thanks,
    Minotauro

I have been receiving this message from upcp daily for a few days now, although I have automatic updates disabled.

This is on Redhat (a vps), not CentOS.

Running the latest STABLE (WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.9.0-S9966
    RedHat 9 i686 - WHM X v3.1.0).

I tried disabling SpamAssassin in Service Manager, then restarting exim. I then enabled SpamAssassin in Service Manager and restarted exim again.

    Now, spamd WILL NOT START.

What the heck caused this behavior?

Edit: I can get spamd running again with /scripts/restartsrv_spamd ... hope someone comes up with a reason why this started all of a sudden.

    Talkative group here.

I'm going to put in a ticket with my provider.

I tried that yesterday (left it out of the list of things I did, sorry). It changed nothing.

My provider is going to uninstall and reinstall spamd to see whether that makes a difference.

In poking around on my own, I found an empty file /etc/spamdisable . I renamed it and 'service exim restart' now works properly. I would still like to know how this problem crept into STABLE and then (apparently) suddenly disappeared for at least one poster in this thread.
