upcp failing in cPanel 68

I am also getting upcp errors since the last few weeks... here is the last email I recieved from the server...

The cPanel & WHM update process failed for the following reason:

Hi. Yes will do. but just to clarify the error that I have reported today. It is the forth time it's happened. According to my emails and unless I have not deleted any of them, it started on the 9th November. Then on the 12th, 13th and today.

Replace "update.XXXXXX.log" with the name of the most recent log file in the /var/cpanel/updatelogs/ directory.

Had this error again this morning

It seems the packages cannot be installed because sums differ; however, when I check the update server in your error versus the main one, I get the same sum.

It seems this is more related to the 'Failed to deserialize staged_files and digest_lookup' error, which could be due to a few things. Could you open a ticket or provide the output from the command below?

This seems to have stopped as autoupdate has run without issue since Nov 17, 2017. I am now on v68.0.16.
