    Hi,

trying to run the upcp script manually, it keeps hanging on adding interdepencies for kernel. It just adds this line endlessly and the update process is hanging.

    I'm on 8.4.0-S92.

I have to kill the process to change it, but that means the update is not completed.

Anyone the same thing or any ideas?

It seems that it is fixed.

First, I updated the kernel to 2.4.20-20.9. But that didn't change the error.
Second, I ran up2date to update all rpm's except kernel, httpd and perl. httpd gave an error when updating, perl is not recommanded with CPanel and kernel is obviously done manually.
Third, I updated httpd (that gave error with up2date) through WHM and that succeeded.

Now, I ran /scripts/upcp in ssh, and no error.

It seems to have worked for me, no guarantees given :)
