I have been messing with this for hours, upcp will never complete, it gets hung up on the gd install.

I have run cleangd, I have reinstalled gd
wget http://www.boutell.com/gd/http/gd-2.0.33.tar.gz
wget http://cpan.mirror.solnet.ch/modules/by-module/GD/GD-2.30.tar.gz

I am getting these errors in whm when trying set services in the Service Manager,

Restarting chkservd monitoring daemon
Stopping chkservd: [FAILED] Starting chkservd: Can't locate Net/AIM.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/site_perl /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/5.8.0 /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/i386-linux-thread-multi /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0 . /usr/local/cpanel /usr/local/cpanel /scripts /usr/local/cpanel /scripts /usr/local/cpanel /usr/local/cpanel) at /usr/local/cpanel/Cpanel/iContact.pm line 14. Service Changes Complete

I have run the perlinstall and it runs in about 3 seconds and says it is complete,
I am running phpsuexec, and this is not a new install, been running for awhile.

After trying many things, with no luck this is what corrected the problem.

rm -rf /home/.cpan

Then run

cd ~
wget http://layer2.cpanel.net/perl587installer.tar.gz
tar xzfv perl587installer.tar.gz
cd perl587installer
./install

Then run

/usr/local/cpanel/bin/checkperlmodules

Now run

/scripts/upcp --force

Everything now working as it should.

Found this by googling Net/AIM.pm , and found a post in ev1 forums.

The answer may be on these forums, but the search function here does not work well, for most things.
