Just updated cpanel to cPanel 10.0.0-R7 and exim to 4.44 and noticed a change in my exim.cnf.

    from below:
    ######################################################################
    # REWRITE CONFIGURATION #
    ######################################################################

Missing was the two lines below:

    nobody@lsearch;/etc/localdomains "${if !eq {$header_From:}{}{$header_sender:$header_From:}fail}" Fs
    cpanel@lsearch;/etc/localdomains "${if !eq {$header_From:}{}{$header_sender:$header_From:}fail}" Fs

P.S make sure there is no space in the word fail at the end, this forum seems to add a space there..

with this missing emails sent via php have the servers hostname as the return path, popped it back in and return-path is now the same as the From: field.

If anyone else is having this problem this may solve it.
