update exim to latest version

Dear community,

I was wondering how I can manually (or preferably via WHM) update my exim version.

When running /scripts/eximup I get the result: exim-4.69-30_cpanel_maildir is already installed, althoughn exim's website they say the latest version is 4.77.

Is there an alternative way to update exim / is the update from 4.69 to 4.77 recommended?

Some advice would be highly appreciated.
