Hello looking to update to MySQL 5.6.30 new to whm/cpanel and wondering what is the correct way to do so.
Currently running MySQL 5.6.29 and want to go to MySQL 5.6.30

I looked at MySQL/Maria DB upgrade and that seemed to be for major releases only.
Then checked Update Server Software and nothing was listed.

On my normal servers I use did
yum repolist all | grep mysql
And that listed mysql versions that I had enabled but on this server it returns nothing for mysql so I couldn't do
    yum update mysql-server

    Thanks

    Hello,

The latest version of MySQL 5.66 provided by cPanel is in fact, 5.6.29, you will automatically get the update once we provide it within our Repositories via yum. Please note that MySQL for cPanel is provided via our own Repositories so this means that you will have to wait for us to push the update.
