    Hello,

How do I "push through" a change made to the dns-settings for a domain? (aka "manual update")?

    TIA

    Hello,

I am not sure about what you want to do. If you want to made changes in name server file for specific domain like for example we can take test.com you can change the name server file for test.com from your SSH login with root login in following file

    pico /var/named/test.com.db

you can select the editor as per your requirement like vi,pico and nano etc.

I hope it will help you.:)

Once you change the DNS Settings on a domain you have to wait for the other ISP's DNS records to be updated. There is no way of changing the amount of time this takes unfortunately.
