Update NTP? How can I do this? Need a fast answer.

One of our customers is getting a security metrix failure because apparently the cPanel NTP system (module/code?) is out of date. How can I bring this up to the latest version?

Hello :)

NTP is not installed by cPanel, however it's possible it's installed by default with your Operating System. cPanel uses "rdate" to update the server date and time. You may need to consult with your data center or hosting provider to see if there's an updated package for NTP available. Or, you could simply disable it, and rely on "rdate".
