Hi,

Is there an a script that allow me to get updates for the whole server I am running Redhat 7.3 and CPanel/WHM 5.3

To allow me to patch Apache, PHP, MySQL, Redhat, CPanel etc...
I read somewhere in WHT about up2date command is this available for me to use ? also do I need anythink like -X

X= another letter

Garry - up2date is available to use on most machines. What it basically does is help facilitate the install of RPM packages available from the redhat network. You would probably need to run rhn_register first to register with the redhat network.

When using up2date you need to specify parameters and package(s) you would want to be updated. This though does not cover off things like apache/cpanel/PHP/ etc... it is basically the same as the rpm package installer inside whm.
