    We are trying to track down a problem with the update system.

    It appears that some scripts in /scripts are not getting updated when they should be. This *may* or *may not* be caused by a bug in rsync.

    Anyways, it would be very helpful if as many people as possible could post their cPanel version

    /usr/local/cpanel/cpanel -V

    and a copy of their /scripts/cPanelRPM.pm

    to this thread.

    Our edge boxes all have:
    8.5.0-EDGE_2
    at the moment.

    All the edge boxes have have a md5sum of:
    3e2966753aee89329cb653acda8562eb
    while an older box (manual edge 82) has
    4e09ba6c42171e4b417ef1992d9e057a

    Not sure what you want us to post as to /scripts/cPanelRPM.pm the check sum as others have or to cat the contents and post it here.

    Let me know.

    Posting an actual copy of the script would be most helpful. As its impossible to match up the md5sums.

    8.5.1-RELEASE_2

    I had to put it in .zip cause your board wouldn't let me upload the file.

    me too on .zip due to 10000 char limitation.

    it's the same file (same md5sum) on two box with 8.5.0-EDGE_7 , red hat 7.3 and red hat 7.2

    (Yes, on stable tree)

    my cPanelRPM.pm is apparently the same as Radio_Heads

    103ab3732af813428d292c60bc886688 cPanelRPM.pm

    This is on a RH 7.2 box as well.

    Looks like my CpanelRPM.pm file is 193 bytes shorter than Radio_Head's.

    The md5sum I posted is the same as Radio_Head's therefore you can use his file in my case.

    I am unsure how to copy such a large file to my clipboard, if you want a copy let me know and I'll copy it to a directory where i have ftp access.

    you can attach the file to your post ;) , look the attachments above for example.

    @TO ALL
    If the md5sum is the same of one of the attached files above , there is no reason to place/attach it here again .

    @Bradco
    Comparing other files with my files I see no change on code, but only changes with empties lines or on commented lines.

    Bye
