I can't do an EasyApache install currently without it saying I need to run a cPanel update first. However all my servers have been saying the following for more than 30 minutes...

Checking again....
Fetching http://httpupdate.cpanel.net/cpanelsync/RELEASE/Cpanel/.cpanelsync.lock (0).......connecting to [email protected]%......Done
The update server is currently updating its files.
It may take up to 30 minutes before access can be obtained.
Waiting 240 seconds for access to the update server......

Are you having a problem with your update servers?

EDIT: Still going after an hour!

I'm surprised cPanel haven't yet responded to this post.

Try this:

"mv /root/.HttpRequest/httpupdate.cpanel.net /root/.HttpRequest/httpupdate.cpanel.net.old"

Then re-run /scripts/upcp and see what happens.

1) Which tier and architecture are you trying to update to?
ie EDGE, EDGE-x86_64, RELEASE, RELEASE-FREEBSD, RELEASE-FREEBSD-amd64, RELEASE-x86_64 etc

2) Which update server is it trying to pull the update from?

Thanks

Sorry guys. 2 hours later it was done, and for reference, it was updating to RELEASE build.
Thank you everybody :)
