Since we updated to Office 2007, our excel sheets are not uploading to CPanel now.

We have excel sheets with an htm extension that contain class schedules and they are not updating to our website now.

    Would greatly appreciate any help

    Thanks

Are you using FTP to upload to the website or WebDisk? Have you attempted to login via a FTP client with those login credentials? Have you contacted your web hosting provider regarding this issue to ensure there's nothing set up on their end that may prevent something like this?

    What is FTP

I do not know what FTP is. Also we also added Norton Software at the same time we installed the Office 2007

It is possible that if you installed a firewall, it could be blocking you from using FTP to upload information to your web hosting provider's server.

I would refer to the documentation of the firewall and that of Excel 2007 to determine any possible causes of the issue. Additionally, contact your web hosting provider regarding this issue. You can determine who your web hosting provider is by visiting:

    http://www.WhoIsHostingThis.com

With cPanel, there are two means by which for programs to automatically upload data to your website. The first is the most commonly used FTP. The second is the newer WebDav/WebDisk (which isn't employed by terribly many applications, FrontPage is the only one I can think of off-hand).

If you are unfamiliar with FTP, I'd recommend contacting your web hosting provider for assistance regarding how to use FTP and ensure it works well from programs like Excel.

You might also want to contact the person who built your website. If it's a content management system, it could easily be some minor configuration issue that your webhost would not necessarily know anything about either.

My bet is on Nortons being the problem. Easy way to check, disable it for 5 minutes and try to do what you need to. If it works then, time to make some adjustments to Nortons.

    Found the Problem

With Excel 2007 it was saving my schedules as 1stYear_files.

In CPanel I had to create a new file by that name than upload all of the items in that file.

For Example: file list - sheet 001 -sheet 002 and tab strip.

Then I had to upload the regular 1stYear.htm file and it worked.

Maybe this can be of help to some one else.

    Thanks for all the advice.
