updatenow is deprecated at ./updatenow line 7 ?

I'm getting the following error with the update now script?

root@serverthree [/scripts]# ./updatenow
/scripts/updatenow is deprecated at ./updatenow line 7.

What does this mean and whats the solution thanks

The updatenow feature is going out of business in cPanel thus deprecated.

Running updatenow directly from shell was disabled several years ago now when issues came up between major cPanel releases.
