    Hi,

I want to modify some backend files manually for automation purpose. However, I learned that there are some cache files for some backend files spread all over the file system.

E.g. /var/cpanel/hulkd/conf has this cache file /var/cpanel/configs.cache/_var_cpanel_hulkd_conf___931587076d81f2de0d294247cc66f14f on my system.

If I want to modify hulkd/conf file, how do I update its respective cache file? And if I dont, would it lead to any kind of problem?

Also there must be many other cache file all over the system, how to update them as well?

    Regards,

Normally these files will check the mtime of the config and will automatically be regenerated. Normally the cache files on a cpanel system are safe to delete, however this isn't functionality that is tested on a regular basis.
