Updating ModSecurity without rebuilding Apache/httpd

    Yes, provided that you are running at least Apache 2.0. modsecurity is just a module, so you can just rebuild it and not all of apache. Thats what ASL does, it just builds modsecurity and installs it, without touching apache.

    which commands to use in order to update mod sec 2.5.13 to 2.6.0 without recompile apache?

    But I'm not using ASL. I have installed modsecurity via easyapache
