    Greetings:

    When /scripts/checkup2date is run, it creates the following up2date skip list:

    courier*;spamassassin*;httpd*;perl;mysql*;php*;mod_ssl*;kernel*;exim*;

    Does "kernel*" have to be included in the skiplist?

    Will updating the kernel and various kernel modules break cpanel/whm?

    Thank you.

    not such a good idea to update your kernel automaticly

    update it manually

    Greetings:

    Update it manually through up2date?

    We prefer up2date over custom compiles when possible.

    Will updating the kernel through up2date (which can be run manually by hand) break cpanel?

    Thank you.

    Greetings:

    There were two questions.

    I don't know if your "nope" applied to both or just one.

    Please clarify which question "nope" applied.

    Thank you.
