Upgrad PHP in WHM

Hello

Whan i upgrade php inside WHM, php will not working, this upgrade brake php. Whats wrong ?
(I use php4.4.3 all upgrade version break php)

I hope somebody can help me with this problem.

Hello

I have this error on 3 server, i cant upgrade PHP inside WHM when i upgrade php stop PHP working.

Is this problem a big bug in WHM ??

i use PHP 4.4.3 and WHM 10.8.0 cPanel 10.9.0-S58

1 - I log in to cPanel
2 - I press on Apache update
3- i will update to 5.1.6
4 - I press Start Build

After i have do this PHP not working anymore, Then i must go back to : Load Previous Config and the php working again. ( with php 4.4.3 )
but this update not working when i update to another version..

Same errror on all my server...

What is this problem ?
This error happening after upgrade to latest cPanel Php Working before i upgrade cPanel to latest.

Same problem - solved by getting it to compile 5.1.4 instead of 5.1.6

Downgrade MySql to 4.1.19 then your php will compile fine in easyapache. Then upgrade your sql. Its a fast and easy way to get around the problem.

Be sure you have updated backups of your mysql directories.

You can install the rpm directly or set your whm to do it for you.

Edit this file
/var/cpanel/cpanel.config

and find the line for mysql-version
change this parameter to look like this:
mysql-version=4.1

Then log into your whm and you will have mysql 4.1 available in
tweak settings. Read the advisory in that section for changing
mysql versions as well.
