    Hi all,

Just a question. I've got a Xen VPS and it's prompting to update the kernel to version 2.6.18-274.18.1.el5.

    uname -r reports I'm currently on 2.6.18-274.17.1.el5xen

In general, is it safe to upgrade the kernel on a Xen VPS?

    I'm running WHM 11.30.6 build 3.

    Hell,

I think you can upgrade your server kernel. There is no issue with WHM because if the kernel upgrade. You can get more idea about this from the below cPanel system requirement.

    System Requirements - cPanel Inc.

In the mean time please discuss this case with Xen support team.
