    Hi,

I'm attempting to upgrade from 5.5 to MariaDB 10.0/10.1 via the MySQL/MariaDB Upgrade feature in WHM.

When i upgrading i notice MySQL 5.6 is blocked and i not take much importance because i want to upgrade to MariaDB.

When doing the upgrade failing for this error

Starting process with log file at /var/cpanel/logs/mysql_upgrade.20170103-100355/upgrade_mysql_with_status.log
    Obtained version information from system.
Ensuring MySQL RPMs for version “5.6”.
    Running: /usr/local/cpanel/scripts/check_cpanel_rpms --targets=MySQL41,MySQL50,MySQL51,MySQL55,MySQL56,MariaDB100,MariaDB101 --fix
    Restarting mysql service.
Waiting for “mysql” to restart ……waiting for “mysql” to initialize ………finished.

    Service Status
mysql (/bin/sh /usr/bin/mysqld_safe) is running as mysql with PID 22263 (systemd check method).
    mysql (/usr/sbin/mysqld --basedir=/usr --datadir=/var/lib/mysql --plugin-dir=/usr/lib64/mysql/plugin --log-error=/var/lib/mysql/host.localhost.com.err --open-files-limit=65535 --pid-file=/var/lib/mysql/host.localhost.com.pid) is running as mysql with PID 22725 (systemd check method).

    mysql restarted successfully.
We expected to upgrade to 5.6; however, the system is currently on version 5.5. at /usr/local/cpanel/Whostmgr/Mysql/Upgrade.pm line 827.

I'm not sure if because "MySQL v5.6" is blocked not continue the install, is wierd because if i really want to upgrade manually i can upgrade whatever version to MariaDB 10.0/10.1, why cPanel try to install 5.6 or 5.7 if is in a case is ilogical.

    Code:
    cat /var/cpanel/rpm.versions.d/local.versions
    Code:
    target_settings:
      MySQL50: uninstalled
      MySQL51: uninstalled
      MySQL55: installed
      MySQL56: uninstalled
