    Hello -

I just upgraded our whm, which went fine. I also went ahead and applied a security upgrade ( switched to pure-ftpd ), and I ran '/scripts/upcp' -- however, I'm still getting the notices telling me that it is recommended to switch to pure-ftpd, and that I should run '/scripts/upcp' in order to ensure that my cPanel is up to date...

Any ideas what I need to do to get rid of the notices?

    Thanks.

What notice are you seeing and where are you seeing it?

If you're referring to the security notice on the main WHM page, there's not much you can do about that as it is part of WHM in general and not a message specifically for you.

Yeah - there's two of them, right there in the main whm page - they both have little 'Severity' indicators which show boxes from green to red.

    The first one:

    "Security
At this time, it is recommended that all customers using proftpd Switch to pure-ftpd as soon as possible to .... yadda yadda yadda"

    The other, directly below:

"Important Notice: Incompatible versions of /scripts and /usr/local/cpanel
All servers running Release, Current, or Edge should ensure that their cPanel installation is up to date. /scripts from the 10.6 series... yadda yadda"

Are these there no matter what - even if you execute the necessary/required recommendations?

Yes, these are just standard notices and are not displayed based on your setup.
