My server is currently on MySql5.6
If I were to upgrade this to Maria10.2, what's the likelyhood of it breaking ?

    Hello @keat63,

I've not seen any reports of the upgrade from MySQL 5.6 to MariaDB 10.2 breaking websites. That said, we do recommend that you back up your database before you upgrade your database or change to MariaDB.

Additionally, keep in mind that we don't support switching from MariaDB to MySQL at this time. This is notable because we now offer MySQL version 5.7:
