Upgrading to MySQL 4

    Hi
    While upgrading to MySQL4 using /scripts/sysup in command line
    got this errors

    those errors are nothing to worry about. i suggest you also restart mysql as that was a mysql update.

    this error cannot be ignored
    its affecting the service
    no one is able to connect to mysql..

    service mysql stop

    service mysql start

    mysql

    execute those commands and paste anything it shows here.

    if the "mysql" command works and goes to the mysql prompt, it means your mysql is fine.
