Uploaded files not linked to website address.

Hi all,

If I upload a file to public_html (for example test.jpg)

Does that mean that if I then type the address of my website into an internet browser adding /test.jpg to the end of the address it should display the test image?

Because at the moment when I type in that address in a browser it doesn't work.

That is correct. Any file uploaded to public_html would be found with your browser at yourdomain.com/
